    Description

    Vintage 22-Pen Display Case
    This display case came for the estate of a well-known Atlanta pen collector.  I was told he had dated it to the 1920's.  It's a nice wood case with a lot of patina from age.  The case is 26" X 10" X 2".  There is glass on both sides and one side swings open.  There are two hasps but one is missing the loops.  It's a common screw in loop so easy to find a new one.  The glass is all good with light marks and scratches but no cracks or damage.  It should have two swing out stands, one on each side, but one is broken off.  It's easy top replace.  The 22 slots are lines with a material that seems like some type of flocked leather or something.  The material is hard from age so should be replaced to display pens.  Very nice case with a lot of history.  It weighs 7lbs before packing.
