Vintage Pencil Box

Vintage Pencil Box . Nice old pencil box. Cardboard wrapped with I believe is thin leather (not sue). Cover is embossed with girl and with a horse and a boy with a dog, caption "PALS" in center. Cover binding is good, right end is bent up a bit. Some scuffing but relatively in good shape. I believe this is from the 1950's, possibly earlier. Lower flap has Uttke in marker written on inside. Measures approximately 8 1/4" x 4" x 3/4".
